The final of the World Cup for trotters will be held in the International horse racing complex “Kazan” on August 30. So, the International horse racing complex “Kazan” will become the first Russian hippodrome, which will host the best horses and horses’ owners of the world, the executive committee informed the reporter of “Tatar-inform” agency.

The horses, which took part in selection competitions in the USA, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Russia, will be exhibited on the cinder-paths of Kazan Hippodrome. The prize fund will be worth 300 thousand euro.

The World Cup program includes rounds of the best Russian horses for “Golden Horse-shoe” prize with the prize fund of 3 million rubles, “Rungoat” prize for older horses, “Peoples’ Friends” prize, and races for Arabic and local fast horses. Classic distance (2400 km) competition of thoroughbred horses for RT President’s prize with the prize fund of 3 million rubles will be held too.

Honoured guests including RF Minister of agriculture Alexey Gordeev, the President if Russia’s hockey federation Vladislav Tretyak, the head of the Federal agency on physical culture and sport Vyacheslav Fetisov and others are invited to the final of the World Cup.
