The Eurasian festival of aeronautics "1000-year-old sky of Kazan" continues in the capital of Tatarstan. 33 giant aerostats will be on free flight above the city, and in the evening they can be seen above NCC “Kazan” on the “night light” show, president of Aeronautics Federation of Moscow region Sergei Shugarev reported to “Tatar-inform” agency.

According to him, for the first time this year on the Kazan City executive board request, festive aerostat was produced in the form of big “kazan” (pot, cauldron) with the silhouette of city buildings and towers. Colourful graphic “1000-years anniversary” is drawn on the aerostat .

Altogether 33 aerostats are involved in the anniversary events, which are navigated by pilots from Byelorussia, Ukraine, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Perm, Smolensk, Tula. Riding on air balloons for honourable citizens of Kazan, winners of city and student’s Olympiads, orphans, physically challenged children and lower income families is organised in the anniversary days.

Eurasian festival of aeronautics “1000-year-old sky of Kazan” is taking place from 28 to 31 August. Yesterday, in a “Pobedy” park, within the frame of festival the “night light” show was organised.

Tomorrow morning air-ballons once more will be launched to the free flight above the city, and in the evening citizens and guests of the capital will be able to enjoy light show with aerostats in the “Pobedy” park.
