«Vladimir Putin: “Both Moscow and Petersburg contributed Kazan metro”»
On August 27, President of Russia Vladimir Putin inspected stations of Kazan metro and drove through from “Kremlyovskaya” station to “Ametievo”. RT President Mintimer Shaimiev with Kazan Mayor Kamil Iskhakov accompanied him.
Putin bought the ticket and passed through the gates. Delegation including RF Minister of Transport Igor Levitin and RF Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliev travelled all the way from “Kremlyovskaya” via “Tukai Square” to “Ametievo” stations. Generally, the President of Russia remained satisfied with the trip. “Both Moscow and St.Petersburg contributed to Kazan metro construction”, RF President stated to journalists.
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev and some heads of subjects of Russia also took part in the trip.
