The national art gallery “Khazina” situated in Kreml in the former cadet school opened in Kazan. The main periods of development of Kazan and Tatarstan fine arts are reflected in the gallery. Albums devoted to the creative works of sculptors Baki Urmanche and Rada Nigmatullina dated to the Kazan millennium were also presented there.

The opening ceremony of the art gallery “Khazina” took place on August 23 within the limits of anniversary celebrations.

Due to a special intensity of that week, the opening of a unique exhibition mart of Tatarstan with a territory of 2000 sq. meters and the same number of items was rather underestimated. The organizers wanted to improve the situation and invited of the republic to this presentation.

The head of the gallery Dina Khisamova believes that everyone feels comfort and friendly atmosphere there. The visitors express delight with the high level of art works presented in the gallery.

 Dina Khisamova also informs that, the three stores of the gallery tell the visitors the history of fine arts in Kazan, the rise of the so-called Kazan school of artists and the formation of national fine art.
