An open championship on Tatar wrestling “Kuresh” is to be held in Saint Petersburg. The selection contests for an international tournament for males is held the same day.

About 100 sportsmen participate in the III All-Russia Box “A” class tournament for the prizes of world champion Airat Khamatov. 35 participants from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk and Chistopol represent Tatarstan at these competitions.
