President of Olympic committee of Russia Leonid Tyagachev directed a greeting to participants of the XXV World championship on bandy. In year of the 50-anniversary of International federation of bandy, the championship will attract attention of all fans of this primordially national kind of sport, open new prospects for developing international contacts and the authority of Russia, as leading sports power of the world. I am sure , that in due course bandy will be included in the program of Olympic winter games, Leonid Tyagachev said in the greeting.
