Chief of Federal agency on physical training and sports, double Olympic champion Vyacheslav Fetisov has sent a greeting to XXV World championship on bandy in which he emphasized, that holding the competition of such level in our country, undoubtedly, testifies that Russia enjoys big authority on international scene. He also noted, that Kazan was always glorified by hospitality and skill to stage similar actions at a high level. On behalf of Federal agency on physical training and sports I welcome participants and organizers of XXV World championship on bandy!

Holding competitions of such level in our country, undoubtedly, testifies that Russia has big authority on international scene. To accept such championship means for us both a great honor, and huge responsibility.

Kazan was always glorified by hospitality and skill to stage similar actions at a high level. It will be made utmost so that current world championship became a real holiday both for fans, and sportsmen. Holding XXV World championship coincides with 50-years anniversary of International federation of bandy and celebrating a 1000-anniversary of the city of Kazan.
